Eirene Integrative Wellness is a holistic functional medicine practice in Wake Forest founded by Dr. Carmen Llavona Hopkinson. Eirene (ee-REE-nee) is the Greek word for peace, and peace is at the heart of our approach to care: Healing the Whole You. We see each person as a whole human being: body, mind, spirit, and emotions. True healing happens when every part of the whole person is cared for together. Through advanced functional lab testing, nutrition, and lifestyle guidance, we look for the root causes behind symptoms and build individualized wellness plans for persons at every stage of life. Our areas of focus include healthy aging and longevity, hormonal health and balance, gut health, thyroid and metabolism, nutrient and methylation concerns, chronic conditions, and connective tissue disorders.
