Design to Print: Ceramic 3D Printing
Saturday Nov 7th from 3-5 PM
Join us for a hands-on introduction to ceramic 3D printing, where digital design meets the art of pottery!
In this unique two-hour class, students will learn the basics of ceramic 3D printing and use beginner-friendly modeling software to design their own custom ceramic vessel. Experiment with height, shape, texture, patterns, and other details to create a piece that reflects your personal style.
Once your design is complete, our instructor will bring it to life using a ceramic 3D printer, building your vessel layer by layer out of clay. Each artist will also choose a glaze color for their finished piece, which will be glazed and fired on-site, ready for pickup once complete.
This class is a great introduction to ceramics for anyone interested in technology, computers, engineering, architecture, or design. No prior ceramics or 3D modeling experience is required.
