About this event

Take a journey to uncover Raleigh’s Jewish heritage and history, starting with Raleigh’s first Jewish resident, Moses Mordecai, the namesake of Mordecai Historic Park.

We’ll learn about Michael and Regina Grausman, who hosted Raleigh’s first synagogue in their home. And new this year, each row of the trolley holds a trip packet with photos and small maps to help us explore the buildings, sites, and lives of those who built Raleigh’s Jewish community.

These hour-long tours begin and end at Mordecai Historic Park. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check tickets and to meet the trolley on time. Tickets can be purchased online at reclink.raleighnc.gov or in person at the Mordecai Visitor Center. For more information, call 919-996-4364 .
