San Mateo Drive & cypress

About this event

San Mateo Drive is a melodic house project by American producer, musician, & DJ Mateo Gonzalez. His artist name and melodically-driven road trip vibes are inspired by his time living & traveling along the Northern California coastline.

He’s had multiple Top 10 records on SiriusXM Chill, released on labels like Enhanced Chill & Monstercat Silk, supported by the likes of Nora En Pure, Ruben de Ronde, EDX, Sultan + Shepard, Tritonal, Jerro, & Mees Salomé, placed into rotation on Capital Chill, featured on A State of Trance, and broadcast across dozens of global terrestrial radio stations. His music has been frequently playlisted by the editorial teams at Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon, Beatport, & Deezer.

As a DJ, he's played direct support for both Qrion and Massane.

Blending the familiar feeling of nostalgia with a melodically mature & progressive sound shaped by his upbringing as a classically-trained violinist, San Mateo Drive believes that with the right music you’ll either "forget everything or remember everything".
