A meditative hike in the woods

About this event

Are you new to the Durham/Triangle Area, or just visiting, or have you been here for many years? What does it mean to belong? Join me on this meditative hike. We will meet new people, new plants, and new animals. This is a beautiful trail with a creek flowing through it. As we walk, I will share what I know about the plants on the trail and invite hikers to explore and know something they didn't know. We will first walk about a mile through the wooded trail and look at the wetland plants, animals, and birds. Those who want a short hike can end after about a mile, while others will continue to complete the cross-country loop (3 miles) Note: Meeting point is 1409 Pinecrest Rd, Durham 27705.
