About this event

Step into a world of creativity and bring your imagination to life in this fun and unique art class! Whether you’re an experienced artist or a beginner looking to explore something new, this class is designed to inspire and guide you as you craft your very own stunning dragon eye sculpture.

Throughout this hands-on experience, your instructor will walk you through each step of the process, from sculpting your dragon eye with Apoxie clay to incorporating natural gourds for a one-of-a-kind finished piece. The combination of Apoxie clay and gourds allows you to create a truly unique artwork that reflects your personal style and creativity.

What to Expect:

• Learn how to shape and sculpt Apoxie clay into intricate details, crafting a striking dragon eye design.

• Explore the use of natural gourds as a base for your creation, adding texture and dimension to your artwork.

• Gain confidence and technique with personalized guidance from your instructor, who will be with you every step of the way.

Included in the Class:

• Apoxie clay – A versatile material perfect for detailed sculptures that holds its shape after drying.

• Natural gourd – A unique, eco-friendly base to add an organic touch to your dragon eye creation.

• Sculpting tools – Everything you need to carve, mold, and refine your design.

• Paint – Add color and life to your sculpture with a selection of paints.

• Paint brushes – Multiple sizes to help you achieve the perfect finish.

• Nitrate gloves – To protect your hands while working with the materials.

• Plastic apron – To keep you clean and comfortable throughout the class.

Important Notes:

• The Apoxie clay may give off a slight odor when first used, but it is non-toxic and dissipates once it dries. If you prefer, we provide 95 masks for comfort, and gloves are also available for your use.

• This class is perfect for those who want to explore their creativity in a guided and relaxed environment, and it’s suitable for all skill levels.

By the end of this class, you’ll walk away with a beautifully crafted dragon eye sculpture that showcases your artistic flair. Join us at The Makery for a creative, fun-filled experience that will leave you inspired and proud of your unique creation!
