About this event
Step away from the stresses of daily life and into the calming embrace of nature as Shawn Ramsey, a certified forest therapy guide, leads a two-hour guided forest bathing experience . The experience will encourage you to slow down, awaken your senses and reconnect with the natural world in a meaningful way. Inspired by the Japanese practice of shinrin-yoku and supported by growing scientific research, forest bathing promotes relaxation, improved mood and enhanced well-being.
As you meander through the natural areas of the JC Raulston Arboretum, you’ll be gently guided through a series of mindfulness practices and nature-based invitations designed to foster presence, curiosity and a deeper sense of connection.
This is more than a walk in the woods. It's a restorative journey for your body, mind and spirit. Come as you are and leave feeling grounded, refreshed and inspired by the wisdom of the natural world.
