Monday Evening Shag Dance Lessons

About this event

Learn a classic Carolina dance during Monday Evening Shag Dance Lessons with CASA at The MOD in Pittsboro. Held every Monday from 5 to 6 p.m., these weekly lessons are hosted by the Chatham Area Shag Association (CASA) and introduce participants to the shag, a fun, low-impact partner dance known for its connection to Carolina beach music. Whether you’re learning for the first time or looking to refine your steps, the class provides a welcoming environment to practice, meet fellow dancers, and enjoy an evening of music and movement.
