About this event
"As fruits and leaves and the day itself acquire a bright tint just before they fall, so the year near its setting. October is its sunset sky; November the later twilight." - Henry David Thoreau
Forest Therapy (sometimes known as Forest Bathing or Shinrin-Yoku) broadly means taking in the forest atmosphere with all of one's senses . Not simply a walk in the woods; it is the conscious and contemplative practice of being immersed in the sights, sounds, and smells of the forest. During your walk, Aimee Vandemark will guide you through invitations to awaken your senses, slow down, be present, and reconnect with the nature and rhythm of your surroundings. (Cost: $35/per person)
