About this event
Unmaking Eden: Rethinking Domestication
David Carr, Professor of Old Testament at Union Theological Seminary, offers a new reading of Genesis through the lens of human-animal studies. Drawing on his new book, Unmaking Eden, Carr asks how these ancient stories have shaped ideas about humans, animals, and our relationship to the natural world.
