A SPECIAL ASK THE AUDIOLOGIST WORKSHOP

An informal and practical conversation about hearing loss led by Dr. Samantha Shopovick of Now Hear This Audiology Clinic in Raleigh.

Dr. Shopovick will discuss how hearing loss can affect our everyday lives, relationships, and ability to stay connected with those around us. We’ll explore the signs and types of hearing loss, common challenges people experience, hearing technology and treatment options, and simple communication strategies that can make conversations easier for everyone.

Meet The Presenter

Dr. Samantha Shopovick, AuD, CCC-A

President & Audiologist at Now Hear This Clinic

Dr. Shopovick earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Auburn University and her clinical Doctorate of Audiology degree from Ohio University.

Her specialties include adult diagnostics, adult hearing aid fittings, and adult cochlear implant programming. She uses the most recent evidence-based practices during her programming appointments with the goal of enabling individuals to maintain communication with their loved ones.

She has a Clinical Competence Certificate in Audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is licensed by the State of North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists.
